Fleet fans of the Nissan brand and who are safety conscious will be happy the new Navara lineup is now completed with the introduction of the single cab variants offering the same updated specifications and technology as their leisure-orientated double cab cousins.
“The Single Cab comes with an impressive list of best-in-class features that make it the perfect partner to get the job done right,” says Stefan Haasbroek, Marketing Director at Nissan South Africa. “It also offers high levels of safety and security from entry grades, including driver and passenger crash bags standard as well as anti-lock braking and Electronic Brake-force Distribution.”
The new Navara Single Cab 2,5-litre D0HC Petrol Engine (XE grade) has a maximum power of 118 kW and 233 Nm torque. The 2,5-litre Diesel power-train comes in two levels of output. The high output engine delivers 140 kW of power and 450 Nm torque. The mid-output (XE and SE Grades), has dual overhead camshafts with direct injection, turbo-charged with intercooler diesel engine producing 120 kw of power and 403 Nm torque.
And for those drivers using the vehicle as a work horse, it also features top-class load capacity of up to 1 144 kg and durability with reinforced body and suspension.
